For customers

Welcome to become a water supply customer!

Here you will find all the essential information you need about your water customer relationship.

Customers typically receive four invoices annually: three are based on estimated consumption, and one is a balancing invoice based on actual usage.

As smart water meters become more common, customer billing will increasingly be based on actual water consumption. If needed, you can check which type of meter is installed at your property by contacting our customer service.

The estimated average water consumption is 40 cubic meters per person per year (approximately 110 liters per day). New customers are billed according to this estimate until an actual water meter reading is provided. Customers are required to submit a water meter reading once per year to Tampereen Vesi, unless the property is equipped with a smart water meter.

Customers are responsible for monitoring their own water consumption via the water meter and notifying customer service of any changes that may affect usage, such as a property becoming unoccupied

Meter readings may be submitted electronically through our Online Service. Once logged in, you can view all water‑related information linked to your customer account, including consumption data and invoices.

Invoices are primarily delivered by email. Please note that email invoices are sent from laskutuspalvelu@ropo.com. If you have not received an invoice, please check your junk mail folder. If you prefer, you can change your billing method to e‑invoice through your bank. Corporate customers can provide their e‑invoicing address directly to our customer service.
